If your item is accepted by DUNES, the license below will be sent to you for completion prior to publication. The conditions stipulated are not dissimilar to those traditionally assumed for other publications within the fandom. We have merely formalized the process. DUNES is delighted that you are thinking about submitting an item for consideration to be part of DUNES e-publications. You will retain ownership of your item; however, you must grant DUNES an exclusive license for one year to duplicate, display, transmit, etc., your item within the DUNES' publication. During that year, you agree not to publish, distribute, share, or display your item in any manner. After the year is over, you may share, publish, transmit your item if you wish, but unless you contact DUNES to end the agreement, DUNES retains the right to continue to distribute your item as part of the original DUNES' publication (ie. as part of a back issue). By completing the form (below) you will affirm that your item has not been distributed or displayed in any manner previously. You will also affirm that the item you submit is original to you, that you own all required rights to it, and that it does not violate rights of others. |
